Project Overview
Scan & Go enables customers to shop, scan, and pay from their mobile devices, reducing friction in the in-store checkout experience. I helped evolve the product across iOS and Android by designing onboarding and discovery experiences that made the feature easier to find, understand, and adopt.

Low adoption despite a fully launched product, as many customers were unaware of the feature or unsure how to use it.
Design Approach
Contributed to in-store field research to understand customer behaviors and pain points, then improved first-time user confidence by introducing onboarding, refining key interactions across iOS and Android, and iterating closely with product managers, researchers, engineers, and QA.
Results
Helped drive a 20% increase in Scan & Go adoption through improved onboarding and first-time usability.
